| Bakers have chosen not to list the individual ingredients, and instead have listed them as categories. This does not allow the purchaser to make an informed choice and avoid any undesirable ingredients, such as wheat gluten. Also, many of the more desirable, and expensive, ingredients that they draw attention to in the main descriptions are included at low levels in components that themselves are included in the blend at low levels. Therefore the overall inclusion of these ingredients in the complete food can be minimal (e.g. “Vegetables (minimum 4% vegetables in the green kernel)”). |
In Formula K all of the ingredient are listed and avoid the main causes of dietary problems, being wheat and beef. |
